Today, we are happy to announce that we’ve updated Geegain Blogs to Beta2. If you’ve already visited Geegain Blogs, you would’ve definitely seen a difference. The update includes a nice, clean design, database optimization, new features and improved existing features.
The Design
As always, we are trying to provide our services with a clean and nice interface. So, we’ve changed Blogs’ design to make it more easier to engage. We believe that you’d find this, new interface more easier and clean.
Prioritized Buttons and Links
The new layout have prioritized buttons and links to make it easier to find them. The ‘Visit Directly’ link now shows with the post title while the rest of buttons and links show upon mouse-over. We’ve also made some position changes with these buttons and links to make it less confusing.
More details in a single line
We are using Tickers to give you more details of single-lined blog posts. All you have to do is take your mouse over to a single-lined blog post (title) and wait a second. You’ll immediately be displayed a nice ticker with the post’s first few words with it’s image.
Dedicated Feeds
The new, Beta2 comes with dedicated RSS feeds. This means, each blog got a dedicated RSS feed that is free to distribute anywhere, and compatible with any device. You are more than welcome to use it to distribute your content across the web so Geegain Blogs can track each and every visit, which would come in handy in the future.
…
That’s all – for now! There are plenty of more changes and additions and they will be introduces via the next blog post.
